20 Questions with Sandra Robinson

1. If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

Time-travel -  I would love to go back and experience the swinging 60’s, especially in London!   Seemed like it was serious craic!

 

2. If you could be any fictional character who would you be?

Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games

 

3. Name your 4 ideal dinner party guests

Freddy Flintoff, Noel Feilding, Dermot Bannon & Deirdre O’Kane – it will be a light-hearted affair no doubt! 

 

4. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Beside’s Mark Owen’s wife…A scientist and then this changed to a physiotherapist!

 

5. If you weren’t an Office Manager what would you be?

Anything to do with food but ideally to travel the world and learn about the history of the cuisine, where they source the ingredients and how to prepare the food etc etc

 

6. Who inspires you?

My husband!  He puts is all into his work and has gone on to achieve his many of his goals….’put your head down and get on with it’ is his mantra!

 

7. What is your favourite holiday destination?

Maldives - Spending the day snorkelling, swimming, sipping on cocktails and reading!  Bliss!

 

8. Do you have any strange talents?

Talent or annoying trait – the ability to see physical resemblance of people on TV with other people I know!

 

9. What is your childhood nickname?

‘Bobby’ because my sister couldn’t say ‘Sandra’ when she was a toddler!

 

10. Are you a spender or a saver (bear in mind you work in Accounting)?

A spender – no two ways about it! I’m great at setting a budget but even better at ignoring it! 

 

11. What 3 words would your close family use to describe you?

Blunt, caring and a foodie

 

12. What is something you have done but will never do again?

Bikram yoga.  Enough said.

 

13. If you could change places with anybody for the day, who would it be?

Jamie Oliver’s wife Jools – just to see what he makes for dinner!

 

14. Name 2 things on your bucket list?

To explore Japan and to fly in a fighter jet!

 

15. What was the last thing you won?

€10 on a scratch card!

 

16. Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Gordie Shore…God it feels good to get that off my chest!

 

17. What chore do you hate doing the most?

Bins.  Anything to do with bins I despise – touching, cleaning, changing etc and cutting raw chicken gives me mild anxiety!

 

18. What is your favourite flavour of Crisps?

Ahh now that depends - For a crisp sandwich Cheese & Onion Tayto or King but for a stand along snack it would be Waffles or salt & vinegar Discos.

Whatsapp, Instagram & ASOS

 

20. Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Saoirse Ronan because she will not butcher the Irish accent!
