Relocating to Ireland Series – Part 5 – Public Transport & TaxSaver Tickets

TaxSaver is a scheme where by employees and directors can receive their monthly or annual commuter tickets tax and PRSI free as part of their wages. If you commute to work on a daily basis using public transport, you can save between 31% and 52% of travel costs as a result of tax, PRSI and USC savings.

The scheme is available for commuters who travel on:

- Irish Rail

- Dublin Bus

- LUAS

- Bus Eireann

- Plus Private Operators also

How to Order a Ticket:

You can now place place your TaxSaver ticket order via our Icon Accounting portal. 

When the order is processed. the TaxSaver ticket will be  posted ticket directly to you.

If you order a monthly ticket, we will reminded each month to confirm if you wish for us to reorder the following month’s ticket. If so, your current ticket will be automatically topped up from the 1st of every month.

The cost of the ticket will be automatically deducted via your payslip.
